Why filtered water, when the supply is already clean?
Fair question, and worth answering honestly. Every drop of UAE tap water is desalinated, and
when it leaves the plant it meets World Health Organization drinking-water guidelines. The
problem was never the source. It’s the last mile: the water rests in your villa’s storage tank,
sometimes long enough to go a little flat, runs through metres of pipe, warms up in the Akoya
heat, and arrives carrying a chlorine edge and the occasional speck of sediment. Fit a filter at
the right point and it removes the chlorine and nanoplastics, so what reaches your glass tastes
clean and fresh instead of faintly of the pipe it travelled through.
What suits a home in Damac Hills 2
Most homes here are villas and townhouses, which gives you two good options — and many
families take both:

the water ever enters the house — kitchen, bathrooms, the garden line you rinse the
