In a flat, start at the kitchen tap

For most Arjan apartments, the sensible first move is an
under-sink 5-stage filter. It fits
tidily inside the kitchen cabinet, feeds a dedicated little tap at the sink, and takes nothing
from your worktop or your space. If you’d like chilled water on tap through the summer — and
in a Dubai flat in July, you will — there’s a hot/cold version too. It is the quiet upgrade
you notice every single time you fill a glass or the kettle.

Why a flat needs filtering at all

Here’s the honest version. UAE tap water is desalinated and meets World Health Organization
drinking-water guidelines when it leaves the plant — the supply is sound. What changes it is
the trip to your floor: water is stored in the building’s tanks, pushed up through the riser pipes,
and by the time it reaches a flat several storeys up it has warmed, gone slightly flat, and picked
up a chlorine taste and the odd fleck of sediment. An under-sink filter removes the chlorine and
nanoplastics right at the point you drink from, so the water in your glass tastes clean rather than
faintly of the journey it took to get there.

Do I need a plumber or building permission?
Our technician handles the fitting under the sink. If anything about your building needs checking,
we’ll tell you at the free site visit before we do a thing.

My water tastes of chlorine. Will the filter help?
Yes — our filters remove chlorine and nanoplastics, which is usually exactly what people in
the towers are noticing. We don’t make lab claims; we’d rather come and look.

How long does installation take?
