Change the way you drink water.
Muwaileh has quietly become one of Sharjah’s growth stories. University City anchors the
whole district — campuses, students, the steady traffic of a young population — and
around it the newer master-planned communities have risen fast, Al Zahia chief among them,
with its villas, townhouses and tree-lined family streets. It is a part of Sharjah where a
good number of homes have their own water tank and a proper kitchen worth equipping properly.
WaterClub installs and services home water filters throughout Muwaileh, and our own technicians
do every job — we don’t sub-contract it out.

Why a Muwaileh home usually wants reverse osmosis
Here’s the honest, local picture. All tap water in the UAE is desalinated, and the water
that leaves the plant meets World Health Organization drinking-water guidelines. But Sharjah’s
supply tends to carry more dissolved minerals than Dubai’s — a harder,
more mineral-rich water by the time it reaches your tank. For most Muwaileh kitchens that makes
a reverse-osmosis (RO) system the right choice: RO pushes the water through a
fine membrane and gives you clean, fresh-tasting drinking water that stands up to the higher
mineral content. It also removes chlorine and nanoplastics. Our RO systems are
in the WaterClub shop.
What suits a villa or townhouse here
Because many Muwaileh and Al Zahia homes are villas and townhouses, you have two sensible
choices, and plenty of families use both:
- A reverse-osmosis drinking system at the kitchen tap — our first
recommendation for drinking and cooking, because of the mineral content. See the RO
options in the shop, with a hot/cold version for
chilled water on tap in summer. - A whole-home system fitted near your water tank, so every tap in the
house runs through it — kitchen, bathrooms and garden outlets. We quote this after the
free site visit, never over the phone, because the right setup depends on your tank and
plumbing. - An under-sink multi-stage filter where a simpler kitchen fit is all you
need — the under-sink
5-stage filter.
About the water in your home
What most Muwaileh families notice — a taste, a little scale, water that runs warm —
comes from two things: the journey after the plant (your tank, the pipes and the heat) and,
here, that higher mineral content. A filter at the right point, usually an RO one, gives you
clean, fresh water and takes you off single-use plastic bottles for good.
Plastic free living.
Installed and serviced by our own team
Every system is fitted by a WaterClub technician, and we keep it running on a simple annual
maintenance plan — new filters on schedule and a visit to check the system. Plans start
from AED 708 a year; the full, current list is on our
maintenance page. If you move home within the
UAE, we’ll re-install it for you.
Muwaileh water filter FAQ
Why reverse osmosis for Muwaileh?
Because Sharjah’s tap water tends to carry more dissolved minerals than Dubai’s. An RO system
pushes the water through a fine membrane and copes well with that, giving you clean,
fresh-tasting drinking water. It also removes chlorine and nanoplastics.
Do you cover Al Zahia and the newer communities?
Yes — Al Zahia and the villa and townhouse communities around University City are all within
our regular Muwaileh route. We install and service right across the district.
Where does a whole-home system go?
Next to your water tank, so it treats the water before it reaches the house. Our technician
finds the best spot during the free site visit.
How long does installation take?
Most installs are done in a single visit. We’ll give you a clear time when we book.
