Water Filter Installation in Al Khan

Change the way you drink water.

Al Khan has the rare luck of a beach and a lagoon on the same doorstep — Al Khan Beach
curving along the Gulf on one side, the lagoon and its fishing boats on the other, and between
them a tight run of residential towers where families wake to the sound of the sea. It is one
of the most liveable corners of Sharjah, and almost entirely apartments. WaterClub installs and
services home water filters throughout Al Khan, and our own technicians do every job — we
don’t sub-contract it out.

Why an Al Khan apartment usually wants reverse osmosis

Here’s the honest, local picture. All tap water in the UAE is desalinated, and the water
that leaves the plant meets World Health Organization drinking-water guidelines. But Sharjah’s
supply tends to carry more dissolved minerals than Dubai’s — a harder,
more mineral-rich water by the time it has reached a beachside tower’s tank. For most Al Khan
kitchens that makes a reverse-osmosis (RO) system the right choice: RO pushes
the water through a fine membrane and gives you clean, fresh-tasting drinking water that stands
up to the higher mineral content. It also removes chlorine and nanoplastics.
Our RO systems are in the WaterClub shop.

What suits a beachside apartment

  • A reverse-osmosis drinking system under the kitchen sink — our first
recommendation for Al Khan, where the water is mineral-rich and the kitchen is where it
counts. Browse the RO options in the shop, with a
hot/cold version for chilled water on tap through the summer.
  • An under-sink multi-stage filter as a simpler option — the
    under-sink 5-stage filter
tucks into the cabinet and keeps your counter clear.

Both fit inside the kitchen cabinet with no building works, so they suit rented and owned
flats alike.

About the water in your flat

What most Al Khan residents notice — a taste, a little scale on the kettle, water that
runs warm — comes from two things: the journey after the plant (the tower’s tank, the pipe
runs and the heat) and, here, that higher mineral content. A filter at the kitchen tap, usually
an RO one, gives you clean, fresh water and takes you off single-use plastic bottles for good.

Installed and serviced by our own team

Every system is fitted by a WaterClub technician, and we keep it running on a simple annual
maintenance plan — new filters on schedule and a visit to check the system. Plans start
from AED 708 a year; the full, current list is on our
maintenance page. If you move flat within the
UAE, we’ll re-install it for you.

Al Khan water filter FAQ

Why reverse osmosis for Al Khan?
Because Sharjah’s tap water tends to carry more dissolved minerals than Dubai’s. An RO system
pushes the water through a fine membrane and copes well with that, giving you clean,
fresh-tasting drinking water. It also removes chlorine and nanoplastics.

Will it fit in a rented apartment?
Yes. Our RO and under-sink systems fit inside the kitchen cabinet with no building works, so
they suit the Al Khan towers whether you rent or own. We’ll confirm the fit at the free
visit.

Is the tap water safe?
All UAE tap water is desalinated and meets World Health Organization guidelines at the plant.
What you notice at home comes from the tank, the pipes, the heat and the higher mineral
content — which a filter handles.

How long does installation take?
Most installs are done in a single visit. We’ll give you a clear time when we book.
